Instructional Style ↑ up

T.E.A.M.S. Training is an innovative, high-energy instructional hockey company that focuses on teaching power skating and skills for individual players, hockey programs and goalies.

Camps are developed for hockey players of all ages and abilities. In our hockey camps and clinics, pupils will develop hockey skills and more importantly, learn life skills and core values that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. We provide individualized attention to all of our players. We DO NOT just blow a whistle. Our instructors and staff are all collegiate players with a passion for coaching. Our counselors are high school or above players. We subscribe to the Positive Coaching Alliance; www.postivecoach.org.

Dennis Gendron: University of Massachusetts, Assistant Coach

Dennis "Red" Gendron was named an assistant coach of the University of Massachusetts hockey program in July of 2005.

Gendron has spent the past 17 years coaching at the collegiate, junior and pro levels. He spent the 2004-05 season as the Head Coach of the Indiana Ice (USHL) after having spent the previous 11 seasons with the New Jersey Devils' organization. Gendron was a scout and assistant coach with the Devils, who won the Stanley Cup in 1995, 2000 and 2003.

He also served as the Head Coach of the Devils' AHL affiliate, the Albany River Rats, for the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons.

This will be Gendron's second stint within Hockey East, having been an assistant coach at Maine during the 1990-93 seasons. In his last season at Maine, the Black Bears won the NCAA Championship. He has also been an assistant coach during the 1993, 2001 and 2002 World Junior Championships for Team USA and also served on the staff of several U.S. Select-16 and 17 teams.

Prior to arriving at Maine, he coached hockey, baseball and football while teaching History at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans, Vt.

From Route 128 / I 95: Take Exit 21 (Rte 16 East / Washington Street). Follow for approximately 4 miles to Walnut Street and take a left, at the end of Walnut Street take a right onto Crafts Street. After approximately 1/8 mile take a right into rink driveway.
